Banner of Honor Project 2025 - 2026

Leavenworth Main Street is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2025-2026 Banner of Honor Project!

Thanks to your continued support, Historic Downtown Leavenworth has been adorned with powerful tributes to the brave men and women who have served our country. We invite you to once again honor a veteran or active-duty military member with a personalized banner displayed from November 2025 through November 2026.

What's Included

Each Banner of Honor package includes:

  • A custom banner featuring your hero's photo and service details.

  • Inclusion in the Banner of Honor Biography Guide & Location Map

  • An invitation to the VIP reception following the Leavenworth Veterans Day Parade on November 11, 2025

One complimentary copy of the Banner of Honor booklet

Important Dates & Deadlines

Mark your calendar! These are the key milestones for the 2025-26 Banner of Honor Project:

  • Banner applications open: June 1, 2025

  • Application & paymentdeadline: September 1, 2025 

  • Digital photo & biography due: October 1, 2025 

  • Banner installation: First weekend of November 2025 (weatherpermitting)

General Information

  • Don't wait! Banners are sold on a first come, first served basis.

  • Details are located on the application.

  • All payments are due with your application.

  • Contact us if you need assistance with professional scanning.

  • Families will be notified when previous years banners are available for pickup.
