"First City Festival: Rockin' on the River II" 

An Invitation to Participate by Leavenworth Main Street 

It's fabulous, it's official, and it's going to be great fun! "First City Festival: Rockin' on the River II" will be held on September 12 & 13, 2008.

Leavenworth Main Street is excited to provide our community and visitors a fantastic festival - family-friendly, fresh and full of energy. "First City Festival: Rockin' on the River II" begins Friday, September 12, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and continues Saturday, September 13, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., with Fireworks over the River each evening. This great community event is creative, organized and full of activity, something attendees will anxiously anticipate year after year. 

"Rockin' on the River II," this years theme, is a continuation of our celebration last year that put the "fun" back in our festival. With participating activities, games and events, throughout the festival, coupled with fabulous food, throughout the festival, and continuous entertainment, from main stage bands, shows & performers to smaller venues, throughout the festival, we've got it all! In addition, artisans and artists will be creatively participating and offering hands on experiences for our festival-goers.  Thank you to our sponsors for their generous support - these activities couldn't be presented without their assistance.
